This whiskey and cocktail bar atop the Youyi Youth Hostel hits many of the right notes. The lower level is an elegant lounge
filled with leather seating. Upstairs,
the large roof terrace looks like a
modest cross between Fez and Xiu. The long cocktail list (average RMB 65-80) features inviting drinks like a vanilla jasmine martini and cocktails featuring basil leaves – rarely a bad thing. The whiskey list is for the connoisseur – 19 types of Bruichladdich alone.
