Thursday, July 4th, The Local will teaming up with Furry Tales Animal Rescue to bring you a Dog-Friendly* Independence Day! Furry Tales rescues and finds homes for animals in Beijing - they have rescued well over 200 pets since starting just a few years ago. *Dogs are welcome on the first floor and patio, but cannot go upstairs. Please read the rules at the bottom of this post if you plan to bring your pup!

Come in for some good old American grub, including burgers, hot dogs, veggie dogs, and more. You can take a trip to the condiment bar to dress your burgers however you like. For your pup, we'll have some unseasoned grilled meats, as well as an unsweetened yogurt pup cup. 

Furry Tales respresentatives will be on-hand if you'd like to know more about fostering, adopting and volunterring to help in rescue and re-homing animals. They can also give you info about registering your dog, training, boarding options, and more.

On Saturday, July 6th, we will continue to invite the Blues Beijing club founded by Xiao Luo, with their blues lovers to join us, accompanied by Chen Songlin and the band's authentic Rockabilly music, Dance the Blue!
