It's The Local's 11th year, and although we missed the actual anniversary date earlier this year, we're going to celebrate this coming Sunday, September 15th.

Sunday is the first day of the Mid-Autumn holiday, so come in and join us to remember the old times, and look forward to the new.

From 7pm, we will have two kegs of Asahi beer - free until they run dry.

Then, from 9pm until midnight we'll have buy-one-get-one-free mixed drinks and house wine.

At 11pm we'll pass around free sparkling wine to everyone to celebrate 11 years of The Local in Beijing. 

Book at table of 4 or more for a chance to win prizes. Each person at your table will be given a raffle ticket - we will announce the winners throughout the night. We'll be giving away Local shirts, sweaters, and some free drinks.

As we all know, there are a lot of foreign friends hanging out very often at  the Tribute Pub, and the open mic nights every week are also played by many foreign musicians who have been in Beijing all year round. With the gradual opening up of visa-free inbound tourism, we also aim to make Tribute a cultural landmark in Beijing for international tourists and a hut for traveling musicians, along with places like Modernista, Paddy O'Shea's, and so on.

From September 14th to 17th, join us at both Side Street locations for a long weekend of unforgettable festivities! Whether you’re chasing the full moon or just looking for good vibes, we’ve got you covered with music, cocktails, and epic fun. 

This Sunday the Factory will hold a traditional British Sunday roast to accompany the release of their brand new Cask, a Yorkshire Tea English Special Bitter.

There is nothing more British than a Sunday Roast, particularly accompanied with a Yorkshire pudding and drizzled in gravy, then washed down with a pint of Oak and Iron craft beer, exclusive only to the Factory. 

Yorkshire pudding is an important part of the British Sunday dinner. It is often served as a side dish to roast beef and is world-famous for its unique beef flavor. "Roast beef with Yorkshire pudding" is even called the national dish of the United Kingdom.

Our meal features tender, slow-oven roasted Australian beef, perfectly seasoned with herbs and spices and cooked to perfection. Each serving comes with a delicious assortment of classic sides: golden roasted potatoes, fluffy Yorkshire puddings, fresh steamed broccoli, roasted carrots plus cheesy cauliflower using a rich cheddar sauce.
