Founded in 2017, Yurenmeigui Stray Animal Shelter was founded by Queena Yang and a group of animal enthusiasts. Alongside its purpose as an animal refuge, Yurenmeigui also aims to encourage adoption over the purchase of pets. The group currently shelters around 140 dogs, one sheep and one pig.

By upcycling you are limiting waste, saving money, designing your own unique objects, exploring your creative side and contributing to the circular economy by making today's goods tomorrow's resources. We are based in Beijing to run regular upcycle workshops and events to promote sustainable consumption and reduction of waste.
