All the Remaining 50+ Sausage Fest Vendors
It's only one week until Sausage Fest 2.0, which kicks off next Friday (Mar 28) and runs until Mar 30 at the FFC. Earlier this week, we already took a look at the first half of our 50+ vendors taking part in the fest, and now we're here with all the saucy sausage details on the remaining ones. From Thai sausages to special collabs, fusion hot dogs and tons of exclusive offerings just for the fest, here's a peek at what you can sink your teeth into next weekend.
Beersmith 鲜啤吧
Beersmith has created a range of exclusive hot dogs for the fest, including two which have been made in collaboration with Heishan BBQ. The first is called the Heishan Smoked Cheese Inferno Dog and sees a cheese-stuffed sausage charcoal-grilled to perfection and then topped with diced tomatoes, red onions, pickles, and mustard. The other is the Heishan Smoked Brisket Bomb, which pairs slow-smoked brisket with house-made BBQ sauce, caramelized onions and tangy pickles for the perfect balance of sweet and savory.
For cheese lovers, they'll also have the Cheese "Overdose" Dog, where a crusty French baguette is hollowed out and filled with molten, bubbling cheese and then a charcoal-grilled sausage is nestled inside for the ultimate cheesy, meaty snack. In addition, their unforgettable Uncle Sam Classic stands as an essential experience. Along with hot dogs they'll also have plenty of their refreshing brews on tap to wash them all down with.
WILD KITE 野风筝
WILD KITE has made an exclusive hot dog for the fest called the Spicy Bean Nuclear Hot Dog. It sees a sausage that's been aged for 36 hours layered with a spicy bean chili that's been slow-cooked for four hours, all finished with a garnish of crispy fried shallots. They will also have a Handmade Mexican Sausage, which is infused with chili powder and parmesan cheese then slow-smoked and roasted for 12 hours until a caramelized crust is formed, after which it's served with charred mashed potatoes mixed with black pepper aioli and a squeeze of lemon juice. Drinkswise, they will have a few of their signature brews: Wild Kite Sunset Blvd West Coast IPA and Double Fruited Sour Ale.
Rak Thai•Thai Home Cuisine 爱泰风•泰式家常菜
Injecting some Thai flavor into the festival we have Rak Thai, who will have Sai Ua, aka Northern Thai sausage, at the fest. Renowned as one of Thailand's most flavorful sausages, Sai Ua tantalizes the taste buds with its exquisite blend of premium pork and an abundance of fragrant herbs and spices. Carefully crafted with fresh ingredients including lemongrass, galangal, garlic, and makrut lime leaf, each sausage just bursts with the authentic flavors of Northern Thailand. As well as Sai Ua, Rak Thai will have a range of Thai drinks available including Thai Milk Tea and Singha Beer.
Side Street 街旁
Burger champs Side Street have turned their creative minds to hot dogs, crafting four exclusive offerings for the fest. The first is the Maverick Dog, which takes a chorizo sausage patty and smothers it with avocado sauce, crispy tortilla strips, spicy mayo and sautéed mushrooms. The other three hot dogs all feature a German-style pork sausage; the Golden Crunch Hot Dog tops it with crispy fried dough strips, cheese sauce and zesty jalapeño relish, while the Inferno Bite is loaded with crispy bacon, fried onions, jalapeño slices, melted cheese and barbecue sauce, and, lastly, the Chili Cheese Hot Dog is dolloped with homemade beef chili, melted cheese, and creamy mayo. To wash them down with Side Street will have a range of craft cider, beer and soft drinks available.
Berlin Bites 柏林百特
Berlin street eats experts Berlin Bites will be creating two exclusive hot dogs for the festival. The first is the Curry Dog, which takes their famous currywurst and transforms it into hot dog form. A fried pork sausage is slathered in their homemade currywurst sauce and topped with curry powder and fried onions before it's stuffed inside a hot dog bun for a modern yet familiar take on the iconic German dish. The other is the Dö́nerdog, which sees a sausage topped with extra crunchy roast beef, veggies and your choice of either herbs, garlic, or spicy dö́ner sauce. It's rumored that they might also have some sausage surprises up their sleeve for the fest, but you'll need to swing on by their booth to find out more.
The Local Cocktail Bar & Eatery
Priding themselves on good ol' fashioned American grub, The Local will have a Classic American Hot Dog at the fest, which is made with crispy fried onions, savory pickle relish, Dijon mustard and fresh shredded lettuce; they will also have a Jalapeno & Chili Cheese Dog. On the sausage front, they'll have Sausage and Peppers with Marinara, Bratwurst with Sauerkraut and Andouille Sausage and Shrimp Boil, the latter of which is an exclusive item for the fest and features creole sausage, shrimp, corn on the cob and potatoes all cooked together in a spicy, savory, citrusy broth.
Atmosphere 云•酷
Atmosphere will have created an impressive five exclusive hot dogs for the fest: Spicy Sambal 'Hottie' Hot Dog, Korean Beef & Kimchi Hot Dog, Mexican 'Salsa Party' Dog, Cheese Tornado Hot Dog and Hot Dog Pro Max. They'll also have a Classic German Sausage Combo Platter, Cheese Stuffed Sausage with German Chive Sausage and Snail Sausage with Cheese Stuffed Sausage. For drinks, they will be debuting three new Atmosphere cocktails: Red Rouge Bubbles, Rose Garden Fizz and Blushing. Get ready to be wowed by the blend of classic cocktails and champagne.
Home Plate BBQ 本垒美式烤肉
Barbecue aficionados Home Plate will have two hot dogs. The first is the Beefy Boy, which has been specially created for the fest. It features a smoked jalapeño cheddar pork sausage loaded with chopped smoked brisket, cheddar cheese, jalapeños and Texas heat BBQ sauce. The other is The Porker, which sees a smoked jalapeño cheddar pork sausage, hand-pulled smoked pork, Cheddar cheese, pickles and mustard sauce.
HUNGER DOG 饿狗
HUNGER DOG will be serving up a range of different hot dogs at the fest, including the Jabby Hot Dog and their signature Hunger Dog, which is finished with a perfectly runny fried egg on top. All of their hot dogs are made from high-quality ingredients with all the sauces and other add-ons carefully crafted in-house.
BRAUHAUG 甲丁坊新德餐吧
BRAUHAUG will have a range of hot dogs at the fest, including a Tuna Hot Dog and Meat Sauce Cheese Hot Dog, the latter of which stuffs a Frankfurter sausage in a soft hot dog bun then smothers it in a thick meat sauce made from Angus beef and a sprinkling of Cheddar cheese. On the sausage front, they've got a Bremen Veal Sausage and a German Cheese Sausage, which both come with a serving of sauerkraut. Aside from hot dogs and sausages, BRAUHAUG will have a range of snacks, beers, cocktails, teas and soft drinks.
Old Dog 老狗
Old Dog will be offering a Classic Hot Dog at the fest, which is a smoked Frankfurter sausage stuffed inside a handmade hot dog bun and then topped with sweet caramelized onion, secret sauce and a sprinkling of parmesan cheese. They'll also have their signature nachos, which see tortilla chips topped with their secret beef sauce, tomato pickles and jalapeños.
He KITCHEN & Co.
He KITCHEN & Co. will have a trio of hot dogs at the festival: a Basil & Pork Hot Dog, Homemade Sausage & Egg Sauce Hot Dog and a Tropical Sour Mango & Fried Chicken Hot Dog, which has been exclusively created for the fest. It combines green mango, cilantro, and litsea oil with a crispy fried chicken thigh for a tangy, refreshing, and unforgettable flavor. They'll also have a Homemade Basil & Pork Sausage and a homemade Lemon Iced Tea to sip on.
Dog Days 三伏天
Inner Mongolian fusion restaurant Dog Days will have an impressive five different varieties of hot dogs at the fest: Classic Jumbo Hot Dog, New York Style Chili Hot Dog, Saomai Hot Dog, BBQ Beef Hot Dog and Lamb Stew Hot Dog. For the latter, they use free range Inner Mongolian lamb blended with a mixture of Mongolian spices.
WhyNot Taproom WhyNot精酿餐吧
WhyNot is embracing all things Cheetos with their hot dogs, with three innovative creations that feature the popular American snack. They've got a Wagyu Beef Cheetos Hot Dog, Cheese Mashed Potato Cheetos Hot Dog and a Caramelized Onion Cheetos Hot Dog, all come served in a homemade brioche bun. The Wagyu Beef variety sees a hot dog drenched in a meat sauce made with Wagyu beef, white wine and basil and finished with a sprinkling of Cheetos crumbs. Aside from hot dogs, they'll have a few drinks to slurp on including Mahou Lager.
Fusion Bar
Fusion Bar has cooked up a new concept for the fest: Mini Cheese Hot Dog Skewers. Each skewer features two flavors – spicy and smoky – and a specially crafted cheese sauce, they're keeping further details under wraps until the big day itself, so you'll need to find them at the fest to see just what they have in store! Along with food, they'll also have a selection of beer, cocktails and fruit teas.
DOM Bistro 多姆酒馆
DOM Bistro will be serving up their signature German Meat Sauce Hot Dog at the fest, which sees a German sausage on Italian bread drizzled with a grilled meat sauce, onions, olives, green peppers and thick cheese. They'll also have a Street Sausage Platter, which is made up of handmade Sichuan sausages, Bavarian white sausages and salami from Milan. If you're looking to kick things up a notch at the fest they'll also be serving up their must-try Long Island Iced Tea.
Forest House Cafe
Forest House Cafe will be bringing a vegetarian hot dog to the fest called the Mixed Mushroom and Basil Vegetarian Hot Dog. It features seven different kinds of mushrooms stewed with Italian spices and lemon juice and drizzled with a pesto sauce and sliced cheese. For meat eaters, they'll have a few meaty hot dogs, including a Sichuan-Flavored Beef and Salted Mayonnaise Hot Dog which takes shredded Sichuan-cured beef stir-fried with secret spices and sprinkles it with crushed tortilla chips and a smear of salted mayonnaise. If you're looking for a caffeine hit, they'll be serving up coffee as well as soft drinks and wine.
Le Maître Charcutier x Brocéliande 乐凡希 X 布瑞林
Famous French cold cut purveyors Le Maître Charcutier will be teaming up with Brocéliande to bring a range of exclusive hot dogs to the fest. These include a Brittany French Smoked Sausage Hot Dog, Croissant Hot Dog, German-style Sauerkraut Beef Hot Dog, Pulled Pork Hot Dog and Pastrami Beef Hot Dog. Their hot dogs will feature Le Maître Charcutier French smoked sausages, which will also be available to enjoy on their own.
OLD JOHNNY CAFE 强力食品厂
OLD JOHNNY CAFE will be offering up a few different fusion hot dogs at the fest, such as the Mexican Taco Dog, which sees a sausage nestled atop a layer of corn chips and then slathered with smoky salsa and tangy jalapeño rings for a spicy kick. To pair with their hot dogs they'll be serving a Mung Bean Milkshake, which is made from a blend of slow-cooked mung beans and fresh milk.
JERRY'S BISTRO 小玖馆炭火烤肉
JERRY'S BISTRO will have two hot dogs at the fest: the Spanish Matador Hot Dog and the Beijing No.1 Lamb Kidney Hot Dog. The former combines a sausage with chunks of juicy beef, bell pepper, onion and cheese. They'll also have German Style Fried Sausages, which feature a black pepper sausage and a Thuringer Sausage served with onion, green pepper, red pepper, pickles and sauerkraut. To sip on, they'll have a refreshing Lime Passion Fruit Tea.
CHEERS Wines齐饮进口葡萄酒
CHEERS Wines will be joining the fest, and they'll be grilling up some Nuremberger Sausages served on a bed of sauerkraut. They'll of course also have plenty of their great quality wines and carefully crafted cocktails.
CHENSHENGHAO 陈升号
Pu-er tea experts CHENSHENGHAO will be serving up a range of teas at the fest, including, Fuding White Tea, Yunnan Pu'er Tea, Plateau Tree Black Tea and Green Tea. Their black teas are sourced from the Yunnan Fengqing Plateau, while their white tea comes from Fuding Tianmu Mountain in Fujian province.
TUKTUK Thai Herbal Beverage TUKTUK泰式植物鲜萃饮
Specializing in lemongrass-based drinks, TUKTUK will have a range of refreshing Thai beverages that are ideal for cooling down. They'll have Sparkling Water with Lemon Grass and Lemon, Thai lced Lemon Tea with Basil, Fresh Boiled Lemon Grass Juice, Lemon Grass and Lemon Americano and Handmade Lemon Grass and Lemon. For their drinks, they use an innovative technique, utilizing Thai plants like lemongrass, pandan leaf, etc. to brew a soup-like base, which is then used in the drinks.
LeBeef 牛了牛了
LeBeef will be serving a fusion Chinese-Style Hot Dog at the fest, which pairs a handmade M5-grade Angus beef sausage with a traditional Chinese baked flatbread. They'll also have Air-Dried Beef Sausages up for grabs, which are low in salt and made with zero sugar or additives.
