Merry Christmas ya filthy animals, Cheesy Pizza Fest is almost here! Taking place inside Langyuan Station’s Central Station from 11am tomorrow (Dec 9) we’ve got two days of festive, cheesy, pizza-y goodness for you! With it being just one more sleep until Cheesy Pizza Fest, here are all your FAQs answered.
What food and drink will be at Cheesy Pizza Fest?
We’ve got 20+ vendors serving up a whole variety of different pizzas for you to enjoy along with other snacks and plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. You can check out more details on the vendors in our part one and part two rundowns.
How do I buy tickets?
You can buy tickets by scanning the QR code below, they’re RMB 30 for one standard ticket, or RMB 168 for VIP tickets. Plus if you follow these simple instructions you can get an extra RMB 5 off your tickets too.
What does the VIP ticket include?
The VIP tickets include:
- Cheesy Pizza Fest ticket wristband
- Branded Santa Hat
- X-mas Knitted Bag
- Bandana
- Bottle Opener Fridge Magnet
- Cheesy Pizza Fest mug
- TABASCO® Habanero Sauce
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Yes, you can buy tickets at the door, they’re RMB 30.
How do I find my ticket after I’ve bought it and how do I get into the festival?
If you’ve already bought a ticket it’s best to prepare the QR code for the e-ticket in advance by following the instructions in the poster below. When you arrive at the venue, go to the “early bird ticket” entrance, show your QR code and you’ll be given a bracelet to enter the festival.
Is the festival inside?
Yes, the festival is taking place inside Central Station at Langyuan Station so you don’t need to worry about being cold!
What time does the festival start? Is there a schedule of activities?
The festival starts at 11am and runs until 8pm. You can check out the schedule for entertainment below and find out more about the entertainment and other activities that will be at the festival by clicking here.
How do I get a Cheesy Pizza Passport and how does it work?
When you arrive you’ll be given your Cheesy Pizza Passport and the rules are simple: make a purchase at any vendor to earn one “pizza stamp”, collect five stamps and you can redeem them for a “Magic Blind Box” from the TABASCO® booth. Once you’ve received stamps from five different vendors, you’ll also be eligible to vote for the Best Pizza. Just go to Santa's Swag Store, show them your five stamps and ask for your personal QR code to vote, plus you’ll earn one extra stamp by doing it!
Which day is most recommended to go to the fest?
The peak day of the fest will be Saturday, so if you’re looking for a less busy vibe with fewer queues we recommend attending on Sunday.
Can I bring children to the fest?
Yes, children are welcome! We have plenty of kid-friendly activities in our Kid Zone, plus, children get into the fest for free on Saturday and Sunday before 2pm!
Can I bring pets to the fest?
Yes! The venue is completely pet-friendly so your furry friends are welcome!
Where are the toilets located at the festival?
The closest toilets are located by the east entrance to the festival, you can see the map below for further details.
Will there be a coat check at the fest?
Yes, there will be a coat check at the fest, you can see where it is located on the map below. The coat check is RMB 10 and please note that space is limited so it's best to get to the festival early if you want to guarantee a spot!
Is there a dress code for the fest?
This year we have a festive Christmas theme so we encourage you to chuck on your favorite Christmas jumper, Santa outfit, reindeer antlers or whatever other festive attire you fancy!
How do I get to the festival?
Ride Hailing App
If you’re using a ride hailing app simply type in Langyuan Station (郎园Station) and it’ll be the first option. Once you arrive you'll need to head to Central Station (中英车站).
Taxi
If you’re taking a taxi, just show your driver this address朝阳区半截塔路53号郎园Station. Once you arrive you'll need to head to Central Station (中英车站).
Subway
The nearest subway station is Line 14’s 将台站Jiangtai Station. But please note that it is not that close and you'll need to grab a sharebike from there so we wouldn’t really recommend it, especially given the cold weather!
However, if you really do want to save that dollar you can go out Exit B and ride a sharebike to Langyuan Station’s West Gate, about a 14-minute ride, taking 将台路Jiangtai Lu eastbound until it becomes 将台东路 Jiangtai East Road, then turning south into Jiangfu Park and riding until you reach Langyuan Station’s West Gate.
Driving
If you’re driving to the festival you'll need to go to this address: 朝阳区半截塔路53号郎园Station. There are three parking areas (see map above), Parking Areas A and B outside of Langyuan Station are free, and the one inside Langyuan Station is free for the first four hours but you'll need to get a parking voucher by following the steps below:
Step One
Open the Langyuan Station WeChat mini-program by searching: 首创郎园Station in WeChat.
Step Two
Click on the present icon that says 限时优惠.
Step Three
Click on the orange button that says 停车分类.
Step Four
Then you'll have successfully got your parking voucher! If you have any problems there will be people from Langyuan Station on-site to help.
Remember, there are a number of locations with the name Langyuan 朗园, it is 朗园Station, not any of the following:
朗园Vintage x朗园Park x
