Expats! Share Your Opinons on Beijing's Government Services
Which government services are the most important to you? Now's the chance to have your say!
The international web portal of Beijing Municipality is seeking input from the city's foreign residents in order to improve its services. Specifically, they’re looking for ways to make the information on their one-stop online government services platform more targeted and convenient.
For those who don’t know, the online platform is multilingual (English, Korean, Japanese, German, French, Spanish, Russian, and Arabic) and releases information, supplies public services, and facilitates consultation and communication for international investors and foreign nationals living in Beijing. In order to further improve the platform, they’re currently conducting an anonymous survey to better understand foreign nationals' experiences and actual needs.
The survey only takes five minutes to fill out and asks various questions – there are no wrong answers – about how important different government services are to you, such as visa services or setting up a bank account etc., ranking them from very important to not important. For any investors or business operators among you, the survey also specifically asks about government services for foreign funded enterprises.
The final section of the survey invites you to list any specific services you need, so if you think there is something lacking, here’s your chance to say it! We definitely all have opinions on what services are important to us, so why not take this opportunity to do you civic duty and share them, after all you’ll be helping yourself out. Plus, as a thank you, we have prepared a small gift for the first 200 people to respond!

The survey will only run for one week so if you want to get your opinion heard, get clicking and complete it now.
