These Places in Beijing Are Temporarily Closed or Have Limited Their Activities
To stop the spread of the current COVID-19 outbreak, some places in Beijing have temporarily shut their doors once again. Be sure to check this list to save yourself the hassle of going somewhere only to find it's closed.
Dongcheng district
Dongcheng favorite Modernista said on Oct 31 they would be temporarily ceasing all events, but would remain open for drinking and dining (see announcement below). The district has also announced the temporary closure of all major entertainment venues, including movie theaters, arcades, and internet cafes.
Jiade Art Center
Closed until further notice.
Yonghegong Lama Temple
Closed until further notice.
Haidian district
Much like in Dongcheng, all entertainment venues in Haidian have been asked to close from Oct 30 until further notice.
Changping district
The district has closed all movie theaters, as well as the following:
Fun Capital Fantasy Paradise Amuesement Park
The venue will be closed from Nov 2 until further notice.
Xicheng district
All movie theaters in the district will be closed from Oct 30 to Nov 14.
Beijing Planetarium
Closed until further notice.
White Cloud Temple
Closed until further notice.
Miyun district
Gubei Watertown
Hotel wellness centers in the town, including swimming pools, gaming rooms, and spas, will be closed until further notice. Sections of stores and shops within the scenic spot will also be closed until further notice.
Qinglianggu Scenic Area
Closed from Oct 26 to Mar 15, 2022.
Fangshan district
Beijing Lai’enbao International Cellar
Closed until further notice.
Baihua Mountain
Closed until Apr 2022.
Fangshan Shidu Scenic Spot
Closed until further notice.
Chaoyang district
China Central Academy of Fine Arts
Closed until further notice.
Beijing Fangzhiguan
Closed until further notice.
Fengtai district
Beijing World Park
The park has ceased all nigttime activities, but will remain open during the day.
Huairou district
Beijing Labagou National Forest Park
Closed from Nov 9 until further notice.
Yanqing district
Baili Landscape Painting Gallery Scenic Spot
Closed until Mar 31, 2022
Badaling National Forest Park
Closed until May 30, 2022.
Yudushan Scenic Area
Closed until further notice.
Pinggu district
Shilinxia Scenic Area
Closed until further notice.
Shunyi district
Beijing Xizang Cultural Center
Closed until further notice.
Daxing district
Arctic Ocean Yili Park
Closed until further notice.
In all districts besides Haidian, Dongcheng, Xicheng and Changping, movie theaters and other public venues are operating as normal, but for the time being are required by local authorities to maintain 75 percent guest capacity.
