EAT: Your bite-sized guide to the best eats to be had in Beijing this week.

Mar 26-Apr 2: "Journey of Taste - India" at Market Cafe, Hyatt Regency Wangjing

Hyatt Regency Beijing Wangjing's ‘Journey of Taste’ series at Market Café is making a comeback with its first stop in India. Joining hands with Chef Sanjeev from Punjabi Restaurant, Chef Rabiul, the hotel's Indian Chef, will bring food lovers a selection of authentic Indian delicacies, including pani puri (pictured above), kutti mirch ka murgh (roasted chicken with Indian spice rub), gosht zimikand ka chaap (braised lamb with yam and yogurt gravy), traditional Indian tandoori kebabs, kewda akhrot vegan kulfi (green cardamom, pandan cream, vegan oat milk ice cream), and more. We tried a selection of the dishes last week, and we can honestly say it was some of the best Indian cooking we've had in Beijing for a while (plus it's great to see hotels collaborating with standalone restaurants like Punjabi). The taste of India dishes will be available at Market Café as part of their buffet service every day from 11.30am-2.30pm (RMB 310 per person, RMB 468 per person on Sunday) and 5.30-9.30pm (RMB 410 per person), Mar 26-Apr 2.

Moka Bros has teamed up with plant-based meat brand Zrou and blogger Wayne from popular WeChat subscription and video account 造洋饭书 to create a pop-up featuring four limited-edition vegetarian and vegan dishes. The dishes are: Thai lettuce cups, a twist on the Thai dish larb moo featuring Zrou and crispy black rice; spicy chili con Zrou; a Zrou meatball sub; and a Zrou quinoa stir fry, packed with healthy ingredients like kale, red beans, and cashew nuts. The dishes are available at all Moka Bros locations until Apr 20.

In the latest in Hulu's series of collaborations with other local restaurants, Yunnan restaurant In & Out will be serving a selection of a la carte Yunnan dishes at Hulu next to WAB from Mar 26-28.
