Opium Hum (pictured above)
Opium Hum AKA Michail Stangl has been for years been one of the progressive behind-the-scenes forces of European clubbing. A DJ with over a decade's experience, Stangl's sets explore hazy drones and soundscapes and cutting edge club sounds that sit somewhere between grime, techno, and footwork. He is also one of the founders and ongoing organizers of Boiler Room, as well as a past curator of the prestigious CTM Festival, and a co-organizer of the Leisure System Berghain parties and label. 10pm. The Drop Presents: Conrank
UK-born Shanghai-based producer Conrank is most known for his bass and techno that gets you moving and won't let you stop. He was featured with Zean alongside Skrillex at Boiler Room in Shanghai last year, and he had also worked with DJ Shadow and Starkey. Support comes from DJs Oshi, Joy Ginger, and Puzzy Stack. 11pm. The Antidote Presents: Summer Haze
Summer Haze is an electronic music producer from Tambov, Russia. A creative yet private producer, Summer Haze has created his own strand of dance music, simply titled weedwave, transcending other forms of electronic music that saturate the club scene in Russia. Intro Electronic Music Festival 2017
One of Beijing's summer festival staples, Intro returns for its eighth year running, inviting a heady mix of domestic and international techno and bass acts like Zadig (France), UVB (France), Virginia (Germany), Nikita Zabelin (Russia), Wengweng (China), Mickey Zhang (China), DJ Paypal (US), MikeQ (US), Shackup (China), Puzzystack (China), among others. Backdoor Party at Ramo
A number of businesses on our beloved Fangjia Hutong strip have been left reeling after the recent city-wide construction to reclaim space and kick out those seen superfluous to Beijing's future aspirations. Most of those businesses are working with the hand they've been dealt, including Ramo are celebrating their new circumstances this Sunday with a special backdoor party.
