Pizza+ to Rebrand to Pizza Saporita Starting Mid-March
As Confucius said, “They must often change; who would be constant in happiness or wisdom.” While we are not sure about being wise or happy, one thing we do know for sure is that to keep ahead in Beijing's dog-eat-dog gastronomic world you must embrace change and rebirth. Opening in 2012, Pizza+ has now decided to upgrade their image and services, announcing that all of their Pizza+ outlets will be consecutively rebranded as Pizza Saporita from mid-March onwards.
Saporita means tasty and savory in English, ensuring that the restaurant's products will remain of the same quality we already expect in-store by the slice or via delivery. Selected classical pizzas will stay on the menu, along with the seasonal variations created by Chef Fabrizio Montori. On top of that, Saporita state via a press release that they will strive to offer a “new genuine Italian lifestyle experience, including the possibility for customers to buy a range of gourmet products, at the same retail price they are listed in Europe, delivered directly to their homes,” continuing, “ownership and management will not change, though their commitment towards customers and the market will strengthen.”
Expect the complete transformation of the Dongzhimen store first around the middle of March, with the other locations following shortly thereafter. Expect a more "Italian style" and a higher level of service and design. We'll bring you the full lowdown once the change has been made.
