EAT: Gail's Caribbean Cuisine at Hatchery, 3rd Sake Manzo and Tribe Opening Soon, Get Ready for Christmas ...

As always, we're happy to report plenty of happenings. Starting today (Nov 29), Gail Ramroop's Gail's Caribbean will be putting up shop with Buena Onda in the Hatchery's new Dongsi location. This amazing Caribbean cuisine pop-up and delivery service first caught our attention earlier this year, and we're glad Hatchery will be providing a roof for their evenings, starting at 6pm daily.

We've also caught wind of the fact that Sake Manzo, a Beijinger Japanese favorite also specializing in, you guessed it, sake, is opening a third branch near Chaoyang Park's Tianshuiyuan on December 16 (at 6A Daojiayuan, Chaoyang District).

To read about what we thought of their second branch when it opened near Liangmaqiao less than a year ago, click here. We'll be sure to update you once we've had a try of their menu, but we can't imagine owner Taka Yamamoto would disappoint.

Another highly-anticipated opening is the new Tribe at Solana, also bordering on Chaoyang Park but further north than Sake Manzo. This branch is set to open in January 2017, sat snugly against the Nike store, and will be the largest Tribe location in the city, at 335 square meters. Currently, it's looking a little like the picture below, and we're keen to see the final design.

And finally, with Thanksgiving finally out of the way (sorry Americans), we can now focus on Christmas! With Christmas bazaars and market season in full swing, it's also time to start thinking about booking your dinners and getaways. Listings are still coming into our events section, but the menus at Migas and Mercante (pictured at top) already look promising, but if you're looking to create your own menu, check out Marks & Spencer before they close for festive neccesities.
