Experience Kaiseki Cuisine with Seasonal Crab and Mushroom Set Dinner at Nadaman

Nadaman, a Japanese restaurant group treating diners to traditional kaiseki cuisine located in the China World Summit Wing, has put together a multi-course seasonal crab and mushroom meal to entice diners. This specific cuisine-style refers to a meal composed of a number of smaller dishes, artistically arranged, and served on an individual platter.

The set is a beautiful trail of dishes, using meat imported all the way from Alaska, including highlights such as dumplings stuffed with crab and white fish. The dumpling's thin, silky skins gave way to a warm soft stuffing that left us wanting many more than the three provided. Another highlight was the fried crab leg with a crab and cream sauce, pictured at top, the buttery fried crab cooked and then placed back into the leg casing to be spooned out.

While we're fully aware that the set doesn't come in cheap at RMB 680 per person plus service charge, VAT, and prevailing government taxes, every course was absolutely delicious and left us waiting with baited breath to find out what the next one was. To try it, head over to China World Summit Wing before September 30.
