Talking Travel: Morocco Welcomes Travelers from China Visa-Free
Starting June 1, tourists holding People's Republic of China passports will be able to travel to the Kingdom of Morocco visa-free. Reports in both Chinese and Moroccan media did not specify how long visitors may stay. Still, it's much less of a hassle to travel with a PRC passport now than it was even five years ago.
Asian luxury hotel chain Anantara has launched its Vacation Club to offer family travel packages at locations including Bali, Phuket, and Bangkok. They offer a full slate of activities for families and kids at their 18 locations.
Thailand-based chain Avani is offering summer deals. With locations in countries including the Seychelles, Sri Lanka, and of course Thailand. Rates are discounted as much as 30 percent at some properties. See their website for more information.
On the industry side of travel, China is now the world's largest business travel market. And Ctrip invested USD 463 million in China Eastern Airlines in April, which means you should expect to be recommended more flights on China Eastern than before, and continue overpaying for them on Ctrip as you had previously.
