Check out Coca-Cola's Commemorative Olympic Cans

Official sponsor Coca-Cola wasted no time getting the Beijing bandwagon going, issuing commemorative 500ml cans to celebrate the city's hosting of the 2022 Olympic Winter Games.

The gold and red cans have begun appearing around Beijing, complete with the message "Congratulations Beijing."

They're also covered in sports imagery, dominated by skiing and snowboarding, and the Olympic flame emerging from a classic glass Coke bottle design.

Normally sold in 330ml quantities for about RMB 3 per can, the commemorative Coke cans are an upsize, in terms of both amount and price. The half-liter cans retail for RMB 12 each. There's nothing like getting fat and emptying your wallet in the process all in the name of sport! That is of course unless they're worth something on Taobao seven years from now.
