Delta Airlines' Singles' Day Deals; New Visas Boost Travel to the US

Delta Airlines has gotten in on the sales bonanza that is Singles' Day, by offering fares to the US – how better to use your brand new US visa – by offering round-trip fares to some US destinations for as little as RMB 1,760 (not including taxes and other fees). Hurry and click here: all trips must be booked by November 12, and seats are going shockingly fast – Christmas Week fares were still in the neighborhood of RMB 10,000 when we checked around lunchtime.
The Rosewood Hotel Beijing is offering an opening package through February 28, 2015, for about RMB 2,000 per night for one of their standard rooms. Might make a nice holiday staycation spot. Click the link above to find out more.
Air China will start flying the Boeing 747-8 between Beijing and New York and also San Francisco beginning in January. It's the world's longest commercial aircraft, with a seating capacity of 365, which doesn't sound like a lot for a longer 747. Read more about it here, and laugh at the incorrect photo they chose.
