The Most Glamorous Internship of All: Call for a Dining Intern
Looking to break into food writing? Excited by the energy of today's dining scene in Beijing? If you like to eat, think, and write, then interning at the Beijinger will give you the chance to do all that at once.
As a dining editorial intern, you will participate in the planning, research and execution of articles, blog posts and everything else that goes into the Beijinger magazine and website. Expect to work closely with the Dining Editor (me) and assist in all aspects of the Food & Drink section with room to focus your energy towards particular areas of interest.
Who you are

- Experienced in writing but eager to learn more
- Versatile and quick to learn
- Able to accept constructive feedback

What you will do
- Develop and refine your food writing under close tutelage
- Pitch and write your own articles for the Beijinger website and magazine
- Conduct research for (and contribute reporting to) articles by other staff writers and editors
- Help with the moderation of our website
- Contribute to and manage independent projects for the Beijinger's expanding dining department
- Have the hot tips on the newest openings in town
- Get a view into the crazy world of Beijing F&B
