Midi Moves Again: Prepare to Make a Longer Trek This Year

This kind of thing happens so often that we’re totally numb to this news: Midi is moving again. The Global Times reports that the music festival is due to move even further outside of Beijing's center.

Cancel any plans to head to the Shunyi Olympic Rowing and Canoeing Park, where Midi was originally set to be held from April 29 to May 1, and instead, look to the China Music Valley in Pinggu District, the new location for the event according to the Global Times. This is the seventh time that Midi has changed its location since 2000. Luckily, nothing else has changed so far, so expect the five stages, a tent renting service and the same band lineup.
