Take Five: Beijing Parks

The weather is finally getting warmer and the skies have cleared a bit these past few days, so why not head to a park? While Jingshan Park is often the go-to place for relaxation and meditation (you can see the entirety of Beijing from its hilltop), Beijing has many more shady spots to get your picnic on.

For rock climbing and winding down: Ritan Park

For temple fairs and merry-go-rounds: Ditan Park

If you want a little bit of everything: Chaoyang Park

If you're on subway lines 1 and 10: Yuyuantan Park

For a poetic escape from Tiananmen Square: Zhongshan Park
