Win Two Bottles of Wine from Yering Station Vineyard
The Wine Republic is hosting a wine dinner this Friday. According to them: "The event will take place outside on the St. Regis terrace and over-indulgence will be encouraged, perhaps even applauded." Sounds like a grand ol' time. To find out how you can win two bottles of wine (a Chardonnay and a Shiraz Viognier) from the Australian winery, keep reading.
This Friday, you can enjoy a four-course meal with generous wine pairings, including a 2010 Yering Reserve Pinot Noir that you here in Beijing would be among the first in the world to try. Courses will include marinated tuna tartar with avocado and wasabi sauce, penne with parma, Australian beef tenderloin with baked baby abalone and a cappuccino creme brulee.
Dinner starts at 7pm, at the Astor Grill at the St. Regis Beijing on Jianguomenwai. The meal will set you back RMB 950, and requires advance reservation. RSVP with Danielle at the Wine Republic (call 5869 7050 or email Danielle@thewinerepublic.com).
Now for the winning part. If you're not able to attend the dinner but would still love a chance to sample Yering Station's wines, you have a shot at taking home two of their bottles (one 2008 Chardonnay and one 2007 Shiraz Viognier), worth over RMB 650 total.
To win, just tell us: Who's the chief winemaker at Yering Station, and how would you introduce yourself to him to convince him to give you two bottles of wine? Email your answers to win@thebeijinger.com by noon on Wednesday, September 12.
