Restaurants pop up all the time in Beijing, but only a few can be considered as spectacular additions to our city. Here are the best in new restaurants, Chinese and Non-Chinese, as chosen by you.
New Restaurant (Chinese)
Best: Little Yunnan "Nice 'n cozy place. I recommend trying the mint-flavored beef and of course the home made mijiu!"
Outstanding: Fook Lam Moon, China World Summit Wing "fresh seafood, meats and mouth-watering seasonal vegetables through traditional Cantonese preparation and cooking methods"
Outstanding: Yan Can Cook "Yan has aspired to create a truly indulgent and playful experience for people visiting China"
New Restaurant (Non-Chinese)
Best: Modo "the dill encrusted cod, the seared octopus salad, and the white chocolate mousse with black currant sorbet and tuile. All were interesting and darn delicious"
Outstanding: Kro’s Nest "its the best pizza i have had and probably would ever have in beijing!!"
Outstanding: Agua "Very impress about this Spanish restaurant. The restaurant was packed and service,cuisine and ambience was 10 points"
Outstanding: Flamme "I had a perfect evening with good service, suggestions from the barman and the chef himself"
