Where Eagles Dare

The Eagles will be landing in Beijing in March as part of their first China tour. Tickets are already on sale and from the looks of it 2011 may be a better year for the arrival of international acts than 2010 has been.

Yesterday China Music Radar blogged the news and quoted from the Livenation press release, “The Eagles will perform at Shanghai Mercedes-Benz Arena and Beijing Wukesong Arena on March 9 Wednesday and March 12 Saturday as part of their Long Road Out of Eden World Tour. Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, 22nd December”.

Tickets are already on sale at piao.com priced from RMB 350-2580. The site also mentions that “Children under 1.2m are Not admitted.”

The aging rockers who have been around since 1971, and together in their current grouping since 1977, will be showcasing music off their 2007 album Long Road out of Eden as well as the usual classics, and even some solo performances.
