Sanlitun-三里屯

Awaguli is a Western-style bar and grill restaurant located smack-dab in the middle of The Rug and Q Mex in Courtyard 4.

Unlike many more traditional restaurants, Café Ruhe goes all out and incorporates a wide range of dishes and drinks from different countries from around the world and, more surprisingly, executes each one with aplomb: even the signature double bacon cheeseburger flirts with elements of fine dining. If you're not a burger fan, there's plenty more to choose from, including tacos, pasta, and even tom yum soup, a nod to the restaurant's globetrotting aspirations.

Ling Long, the modern Chinese restaurant (to vastly undersell the concept) in co-living space Stey in Bei Zhaolong Hotel, that melds dishes that are distinctly modern French with flavors are unmistakably Chinese, something that the kitchen calls “re-fine dining.” For example, pork belly here perfectly evokes the flavors of traditional Dongbei-style pork and sauerkraut hot pot but is also worlds away from its usual rustic presentation, substituting melt-in-the-mouth slices of sous vide Spanish pork belly and a crystal clear consommé infused with pickled cabbage.

This casino-themed bar deals in hefty portions of American pub grub as well as good deals on cocktails and beer. There's plenty of entertainment: TV screens, a pool table, and even a roulette wheel where diners stand to win a chance to get a full refund on their bill.

This haunted house-style escape room on the second floor of Shimao Gongsan Mall is surprisingly vast, offering over 20 fright-filled experiences. A warning, however: this is not for the faint of heart.
