2024 Desafío China by La Vuelta - Beijing Changping is coming!
The event will be held on May 25th-26th.
This year, we will adopt the drawing system to determine race entries.

The race is divided into two days: On May 25th, there will be Criterium, Team Time Trial, and Family Fun Ride, covering all kinds of participants and ages. On May 26th, there will be a road race with a total length of 95.5KM. The Village is located in the Future Science City Sport Center of Changping District, Beijing. The course of the Future Science City includes two iconic bridges, and the participants can enjoy the refreshing cityscape.
The road race course will pass through the Ming Tombs Reservoir in Changping District, and participants will get the exceptional experience of riding on the reservoir dam only once a year. In the meanwhile they can feel the charm of the world cultural heritage and the national 5A tourist attraction Imperial Tombs of Ming Dynasty along the way, and experience the newly-favored Wangbai Road and other classic cycling routes in Changping. Along the well-designed course, participants can try a variety of terrain and road conditions including highways, mountain roads, dams and bridges.
With the strong support of the Changping District People's Government of Beijing Municipality, the Desafío China by La Vuelta - Beijing Changping will continue to be a fully closed course to ensure the safety of participants, spectators and tourists. Registration Time: From now to 12:00 PM, Feb.16th. Registration Process Participants need to login the Official Registration Channel Malamala or click "read more" to enter the registration page, fill in the information for the pre-registration. After submit the info, the status will be "wait for the draw result". The drawing result will be announced at 10:00 AM on February 26th. The organizing committee will notify the selected participants via SMS, and the participants must pay the registration fee before 3:00 PM on March 8th to complete the registration. Those who failed to complete the payment by the due date will be regarded as abandoning their participation eligibility. Then, if there are unpaid places after the first round of drawing and payment, the organizing committee will conduct the second round of drawing on March 25th. Registration fee includes: T-Shirt, Musette Bag, Towel, Number Set, Finisher Medal, Finisher's Supply, Event Insurance. Registration Requirement Road Race, Criterium, Team Time Trial Participants must be aged 16-70 on the date of the event (Born between May 25th 1954 and May 26th 2008) and have participated in cycling or any other mass sporting events. Team Time Trial is suitable for participants with experience. For participants under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian's consent to participate in this event is deemed to have been obtained by completing the waiver online and submitting a signed copy during race athlete packet pick-up. Family Fun Ride Participants must be aged 6-70 on the date of the event (Born between May 25th 1954 and May 26th 2018). Participants under the age of 16 (born after 26 May 2008) must have consent from their parent or legal guardian and pass the basic riding test on the event day. They must be accompanied by at least one parent or legal guardian during the ride. For participants under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian's consent to participate in this event is deemed to have been obtained by completing the waiver online and submitting a signed copy during race athlete packet pick-up.
