Born in Miami, Florida, Dazhou grew up in New York City. At the age of three, he sang gospel songs in church with his grandfather and learned to play jazz drums. At the age of 11, his mother gave him a trombone as a gift. Since then, he fell in love with the trombone and never stopped.

With the advent of college, Sanders became more and more enthusiastic about Juxtaposition, so he decided to choose Juxtaposition, and studied at Newschool University in New York.
