The class is instructed by English speaking Tai Chi master Eric Liu. in the class, you'll not only learn the authentic tai chi in a simple step-by-step proven method, but also go much deeper than just learning the forms. He'll assist you to understand Yin Yang idea, Taoist phylosophy behind the art, introduce how to obtain the “Qi” (energy) through the natural but gentle exercise. You will also learn basic methods of self massage to relief pain and stress in daily life.

Eric Liu's Background


Eric Liu , Founder of Beijing San Feng Tai Chi Club, Born in Hebei province in 1972, graduated from the Beijing University of Chemical Technology in 1991, but had begun his Kung Fu journey much younger, at the age of 14. After decades of disciplined practice, combined with years of theoretical analysis of the Book of Changes and Tao Te Ching, Liu says he has come to deeply understand the 'internal health' benefits of practicing song gong (relaxation) qigong exercises, and has subsequently made this the focus of his studies and teachings. In 2008 he founded the Beijing Sanfeng Tai Chi Club – the same year he became a designated Tai Chi training instructor for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.


He believes that: "cultivating one's Qi (internal energy) not only can helps us improve righteousness and resist disease, but also help understand our body, better perceive the universe, allow us to achieve a wonderful state of harmony between man and nature." "The consistent practice can strengthen our physical body function, bring a qualitative leap in our thinking and cognition." He advocates that “Tai Chi exists everywhere in our lives, should not only be used for fitness, but also be applied to guide the way of our living and thinking, eventually attain a higher level of doings."
