Julius Steinhoff is far from being a stranger in the ever-expanding universe of House and Techno. As a Co-Founder and one of the steersmen behind Hamburg's Smallville empire (record store and label/ party curator around the globe), half of the dynamic duo Smallpeople as well as a producer and DJ in his own right, Steinhoff is closely associated with a group of like-minded people that unite fresh ideas and individualism with a certain sense of tradition.

Hamburg's Smallville Records, The super-cosmic, deep house imprint, ran by by Julius Steinhoff and Dionne, has been delivering prime cuts by Christopher Rau, Moomin and Lawrence since 2005 and dropped in 2015 a 10-years-anniversary compilation 'Smallville Ways' featuring tracks by label favourites such as Juniper, Smallpeople and a collaboration from Move D, Marco Wollenberg and Benoit Bouquin. 

Julius' DJ-Sets are focused on a range between Deep House and Techno- always within the balance of atmospheric warmth and club suitability. He has played all over the world in clubs like Panorama Bar/ Berghain, Robert Johnson, Concrete, Output, The Block and many more on all continents.
