Beach 北’s are proud to celebrate the return of London’s fruit bto Beijing for a second musical adventure, following her China debut in 2018. Together with DJs from Beijing collectives Club Paradise and LoReLi, join the 北’s at Soi Baochao for a delicious night of percussive audiovisual delight, all night long.

London-based DJ fruit b, also known as drummer of London’s maximalist noisniks HYPERSTITION DUO and previously the aggrobeat trio Blood Sport, returns to Beijing for another musical journey after her fierce debut in 2018. Joining the dots between trans-continental rhythm-heavy bass sounds and disruptive dance-disorientation, fruit b's sets are an exploration in rhythmic rudeness. Entangled with her percussive practice as a drummer, fruit b's sets channel a polyrhythmic flood of beats and booty-rattling, darting between genres with both ears always to the floor.

Ghoulfren

Mischievous Ghoulfren has haunted the Beijing club scene with DOME since 2014 at venues such as Dada, Modernsky Lab, Lantern and REC Room. His sets are known for unveiling the fun in bass/techno music, bringing infectious energy to the dancefloor. Ghoulfren’s sets can weave between Jersey and Baltimore club tracks, Dancehall, Grime and Hip Hop.

Chloë

Chloë made her inroads to DJing via the clubs and sounds of south England to Beijing. Chloë’s upbeat sets connect the dots between genres spanning house, disco, bass and rhythms from around the globe, playing along the grooves that run between.

Bass Ventura

With early musical roots filling many of the clichéd DJ bio tropes, Bass Ventura brings an eclectic mix of whatever's on his hard-drive, to fit any mood. As long as that mood calls for copious amounts of percussion and/or horn sections.
