Beijing, 10 September 2018 – From 23 September to 7 October 2018, The Opposite House presents “Incomparable New York, Room 222”, a pop-up photo exhibition showcasing Rose Hartman’s New York nightlife photography.

Rose Hartman’s iconic pictures of 1970s New York and its wild glamorous nightlife come to Beijing for the first time. Guests will clink glasses with Andy Warhol, enjoy dinner with Bianca Jagger and visit Kate Moss’s wardrobe, all in The Opposite House’s Room 222. Rose Hartman will be resident in The Opposite House from 19th – 30th September, come and enjoy an intimate view of the New York fashion world in the 70’s style.

“Incomparable New York, Room 222” at The Opposite House will see the launch of total 26 photograph pieces. All pieces can be purchased through The Opposite House Mini Program, including the infamous shot of “Andy Warhol drinking milk” taken in Studio 54 in late 1970’s.

“Incomparable New York, Room 222” pop-up exhibition will be on display from 23 September 2018 to 7 October 2018, every day from 11:00am to 8:00pm.
