The China Women’s Film Festival, partnered with UN Women is hosting their 3rd annual Art Exhibition to commemorate the international day to end violence against women (EVAW) from November 26 – December 10. The Crossroads Centre, a creative event space in Gulou, will open its doors from 9:30 – 17:00 every day to present comics and standalone illustrations that highlight gender-based violence and discrimination from both international and local artists. Through the use of comics, we can spread awareness about gender issues among the Chinese community and expand the conversation surrounding these topics. Entrance is free!
