One of Martin Berasategui’s most acclaimed protégés, Chef Erlantz Gorostiza, has been invited to present a selection of the restaurant’s signature dishes at Grill 79 from 3 June to 6 June 2017.


Chef Gorostiza is head of gastronomy at the Michelin two-starred M.B Restaurant – Abama Golf and Spa Resort in Tenerife. It is a dynamic space, with a team of young and experienced professionals from the world of catering. M.B is currently still the only establishment with two Michelin stars in the history of the Canary Islands. The Michelin Guide has awarded the restaurant its second star in recognition of its work on the spectacular balance between food, raw ingredients and good knowledge of its cuisine.


Taking advantage of its unique geographical location and climatic conditions, Spanish cuisine has a wide selection of fresh ingredients, coupled with rich colours, a wide variety of food and the rich and diverse food culture in Spain, known as the gourmet paradise.


Rome is not built in one day. Chef Gorostiza has an extensive experience in the field, and his impressive professional career includes other ‘starry’ establishments, such as the restaurant El Celler de Can Roca (Girona) with three Michelin stars, Quique Dacosta (Alicante) with three stars and The Gates (Cuenca), Andra Mari (Vizcaya) and Kubita Kaia (Vizcaya), all of which have one Michelin star.Guests should not pass up this exclusive opportunity to taste Basque cooking at its best.  Temperatures, flavours and textures predominate, blending tradition, technology and innovation together to provide customers with a true culinary experience.
