Like so many of his countrymen, musicien français Abstraxion is fond of squelch and buzz, combining sinister techno and impish electro over punky disco rhythms.

As a producer based in Marseille, he released at the end of 2013 his stunning debut LP ‘Break of Lights’ on HAKT Recordings, and on Nicolas Jaar’s label Other People. In 2014 his EP ‘I Can’t’ came out on HAKT and in January 2015 he was invited to Tim Sweeney’s Beats In Space radio show (NYC). Then EP ‘Origami’ co-produced with Kasper Bjørke was released in April on Biologic Records which Abstraxion co-manages with Belgium DJ and producer DJ Salas.

Biologic Records aim to explore the relationship between organic and analogue, natural and urban. In October 2016, Abstraxion’s second album “She Thought She Would Last Forever” was released as part of the celebration of the label’s 10th anniversary. A strong visual atmosphere was created around the album with music videos shot in the forests by directors Friedrich van Schoor & Tarek Mawad, and a specific setting for an A/V live designed by digital artist Jem the Misfit. And last month, Abstraxion and Kasper Bjørke second collaboration was released, a new EP “Matin/ Nuit”.
Abstraxion has played in the best clubs in Europe as a DJ and his live audio and visual show was appointed as opening for DARKSIDE (Nicolas Jaar & David Harrington).

For his new live show, Abstraxion will perform alone on stage, exploring his house & techno side deeper and further.
