Welcome July! The beginning of this season is symbolized by 小暑/Xiǎoshǔ which can be compared as a small summer. According to the Chinese Lunar calendar, it’s just before the great heat comes, and where the rainfall decreases. As it is hot outside, people like to cool off by enjoying some mangoes, eat dumplings or fried bean sprouts.

To this end, we organize the Festival of International Cultural Exchange where you are invited to bring just … everything! This can be the food from your home country, but not only! Have you thought about symbolic objects or souvenirs? You might even have fun stories to tell us!

This activity is open to the students of the school but also to everyone! We will organize different activites for you that day.

• The 1st one will be games (游戏), which parents can also participate in! The first game is called "两人三足" which consists of an obstacle course between parents and children. As for the second game, they are divided into two categories. For the children above 10 years old who already have some Chinese speaking knowledge, a guessing game will be proposed: "你说我猜". Finally, the last game is a balloon game, intended both for parents and children, where the master word is: cooperate!


• The 2nd activity will be a Cosplay party, to enable everyone to wear their traditional clothes from their hometown so that we could share together the multicultural atmosphere!


• Finally, the last activity will be a talk show about your cultural specificities, so that you will be asked diverse questions. After collecting your answers, there will be a quizz, and if you answer right to those questions, you will get a surprise!
