Purple Bar is a new cocktail bar located inside Purple Isle, the long-established Thai restaurant formerly known as Purple Haze, tucked down an alley just a glance from the north gate of Workers' Stadium. It serves a wide range of tropical and tiki-inspired drinks made with specialty infusions and craft syrups, all at very reasonable prices. Perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Sanlitun, Purple Bar is the brainchild of Lin White, formerly a bartender at BBC and one of the founders at Crib.
Constellation and Purple Bar will launch their official opening side by side on July 1st. Party starts Saturday, July 1st @1pm at both joints, where guests can prepare their livers for the night ahead with a healthy dose of Jo's Juice elixirs and some pre-gaming cocktails, paired with a delicious toasty or a big bowl of wholesome salad goodness that is sure to hold you steady as the party marches over to Purple Bar anytime and begins their exploration of Lin's delicious (and strong!) artisan cocktails, also she will be passing around free shots to everyone who comes to support.
Constellation Cafe is located down Xingfu Yicun alley next door to the Red Rose Xinjiang Restaurant, which is Across from the Worker's Stadium North Gate off of Gongti Beilu.
