Ramo and Mimi e Coco are ganging up to once again to throw an epic party. This time the emphasis will be on soul - soul music and soul food.
“Soul food?” you ask. Soul food is nothing else than comfort food that feeds your soul (and the hips; a tad bit). It gets even better as we are talking Southern comfort food. You ask why Southern? Nobody will put it better than Ramo’s very own Leila, who’s just returned from a trip back home and you guessed it right - her Southern home.
“Being born and raised in the South, I grew up with soul food being a staple of my Southern culture. Whether it was a family gathering or a celebration, down home cooking brought everyone together with a smile on their face. From finger lickin’ good fried chicken to creamy mashed ‘taters, food from the South truly warms the soul.”
We couldn't agree more.
BBQ ribs, fried chicken, hushpuppies and more will be available at Ramo the whole day of Saturday 18th.
We are putting the music side of the party in the good hands of DJs Cad73 and Jay 1,2 who will take you on a voyage through the origins of Southern soul. They will be spinning records at Mimi e Coco starting at 4pm and going into the night.
We are going to make sure that you don't feel peckish even for a second - the special food menu will be available at Mimi e Coco until our kitchen closes, i.e. until 11pm. Expect drink specials too!
