Claudia arrived in Beijing in 2008 with just two suitcases of wine samples and big ambitions to rock China! A few months later she founded MQ Wines whose aim was to offer good quality, low-price wines to B2B channels in China. MQ Wines expanded very fast and soon had customers in 23 provinces but at the end of 2010 the entire warehouse burned down, putting them out of business for four months.

In true entrepreneurial spirit, it seems this hardship created an opportunity because, during this downtime, Claudia and her team developed the CHEERS Wines retail chain. CHEERS Wines is now a strong and trusted brand in Beijing (it seems like a new store opens every week!). Claudia is now expanding with a committed franchise concept to other cities all around China.
