The Carnivore’s Club was created to increase awareness of secondary cuts and offals. For one night only Chefs Rob and Randhir will be working side by side on an Indian menu prepared with fresh ingredients from The Brickyard’s own garden.

“Having been a chef for almost 30 years and having worked in big five star hotels as well as small boutique restaurants, what I’ve always enjoyed the most is my mother’s food that comes straight from the heart. This time we’re combing my mother’s home cooking recipes to bring a one night only dinner made with local homegrown ingredients and love from the heart.” – Randhir Singh, Executive Chef of Brickyard Retreat.

The dinner starts with a selection of Indian canapés including vegetarian samosa, pakoras (vegetarian fritters) and cumin flavoured tomato & spinach tarts on the Brickyard’s open air yoga platform followed by a Schoolhouse garden salad made with grilled apricots and spicy lamb followed by raita and kachumber salad served family style. For the main course the chefs will be serving up a selection of Indian-spiced grilled cegetables, rogan josh style plumped lamb shoulder, Goan style lamb shank, papadum, wild green peach chutney, and mint chutney. For dessert enjoy a traditional mango lassi pudding, green cardamom kulfi, and carrot halwa served with sweet tea and Schoolhouse’s homemade liquors.

See you on July 2nd where you’ll get to meat your dinner.
