The JW Marriott’s CRU Steakhouse was named among the “best 50 restaurants in China” by Food and Wine magazine in 2009. CRU’s main attractions are its seafood bar, with lobster (RMB 500 for a whole rock lobster) and clam among the maritime offerings, as well as the selection of steaks (including Wagyu rib eye at RMB 350) and other grilled meats. Wine lovers, meanwhile, have over 200 bottles to choose from. The intimate, romantic ambiance and first-rate service round off the experience and go some way to demonstrate why CRU sets the standard for steakhouses in Beijing. Voted "Outstanding Steak" in the Beijinger's 2011 Restaurant Awards.
The new Grand Cru Sunday brunch is sheer indulgence, featuring raw oysters, gourmet French cheeses, Spanish jamon, desserts galore, juicy Wagyu steaks from the a la carte menu and a free flow of champagne. Sundays from 11.30am-3pm. RMB 688 per person (plus service charge) and free for children under 6.
