Alimentari Grande Officially Opens in Sanlitun
We already mentioned in an earlier post about how Alimentari, an Italian eatery chain originating in Shanghai, would be opening up a restaurant in Beijing. Well, the day has finally arrived! Yesterday (Mar 7) Alimentari Grande officially opened in Sanlitun. The space includes a dining area, retail area, bar, deli area and open pizza station and serves food all day with everything from breakfast to afternoon snacks to dinner and more.

All You Can Eat Steak & Fries at Plan B on Thursdays
Plan B has launched a special deal for March where every Thursday you can get free flow steak and fries for only RMB 200. The deal features their Australian Angus grain fed steaks and hand cut fries and is a real steal. However, make sure your eyes don’t get too big for your belly because you’ll be charged an additional RMB 100 for any leftovers you take home to ensure a zero-waste policy.

Bosco by TRB Officially Up and Running
You may have already spotted from our weekday lunch menu post last week that restaurant group TRB has just opened Bosco, a new Italian restaurant. It’s now officially open and along with the lunch menu they also have an a la carte menu, sharing menu and four course dinner menu for RMB 988 (+15 percent). Located on The Ritz-Carlton Beijing, Financial Street it offers up an array of classic Italian dishes and, as with any TRB establishment, we expect that both the food and service will be excellent.

DuLi Pop-Up Returns to Beijing at CHEZ MOREL
After their super successful pop-up at Ori Sake & Food throughout December and January, plant based dining outfit DuLi are back with a brand new pop-up at CHEZ MOREL. They’re bringing the same hot dishes from their last pop-up in addition to Spicy Red Curry Tempeh Garden, Gongbao Pizza, DuLi Tiramisu, Acai Berry Smoothie Bowl for a total of 12 dishes. The pop-up starts today (Mar 8) and will run until Apr 21. What’s more, tonight they’re having an official opening party with three free vegan snacks, natural wine from the TheGingiProject and a live DJ from 8.30-9.30pm.

LOKAL Now Open in Taikooli
We recently wrote about the closure of Wagas’ Taikooli store which was set to reopen as LOKAL, one of their sister brands and not to be confused with The Local in Sanlitun Courtyard No.4. Well, it’s now open and already seems to be a big hit with the locals or should we say LOKALS. You can kind of view LOKAL as being like Wagas’ cool older sister, it’s still an eatery with a focus on healthy eating but also doubles up as a bar with numerous alcoholic beverages on offer. They’ve also got some dishes that are of particular interest to us here at the Beijinger, namely burgers and tacos along with pasta dishes, brunch dishes, salads and more.

Turkish Feast’s Business Lunch Sets at Jinshang Yuan and Huamao
When we wrote about weekday lunch deals in the city we neglected to include Turkish Feast’s great offerings at both their Huamao (pictured above) and JinShang Yuan (pictured below) locations. These are great options for those working in the Dawang Lu or Liangmaqiao area with prices ranging from RMB 88-108 for a main, side dish and drink.
