Beijing-Xiong'an Expressway Transforms Connectivity in Xiong'an New Area: The highly anticipated Beijing-Xiong'an expressway has officially opened to traffic, marking a significant milestone in the development of the Xiong'an New Area, reports China Daily. This modern expressway connects the bustling capital city of Beijing with the newly established Xiong'an region, drastically reducing travel time to less than an hour. Spanning a total length of approximately 102 kilometers, the expressway consists of a 75-kilometer section in Hebei province and a 27-kilometer section within Beijing. As a crucial component of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development strategy, this transportation project serves as a vital link between the two regions, complementing existing expressways and enhancing connectivity in the area.
