Hainan Airlines Boosts Manchester-Beijing Flights and Starts Boston-Beijing Service: Hainan Airlines is set to augment its service between Manchester and Beijing by introducing daily flights, which presently operates four times weekly using an Airbus A330, reports UKaviationnews. The report says enhancement will cater to the high demand for travel between Northern England and China, citing Hainan Airlines UK GM Peter Han.
Hainan Airlines has also resumed it's its Beijing-Boston flight HU729, which successfully departed from Beijing Capital International Airport on Nov 26, reports AviationSource News. The airline is gearing up for thrice-weekly round trips every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, using Boeing 787-9 wide-body airliners. Flights will take off from Beijing Capital International Airport at 1.20pm local, arriving at Boston Logan International Airport at 3.40pm. The return journey will start at 5.40pm in Boston, briefly stop in Seattle, and land in Beijing two days later at 3.30am. The estimated total flight duration is 20 hours and 50 minutes.
SereneAir Bridges China-Pakistan with New Flight Route: SereneAir, a Pakistani airline, has launched its inaugural round-trip flight from Karachi to Islamabad and onward to Beijing Daxing International Airport, reports Ecns.cn. This new route is expected to enhance the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor's potential for quality development. The increased frequency of flights between the cities is poised to breathe new life into the economic growth and amicable relations of the two nations. Operating twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays, the service will utilize Airbus A330-200 aircraft under flight numbers ER901 and ER902.
China Unveils Year-Long Visa-Free Entry for Six Countries: China has announced a year-long, visa-free entry policy for citizens of six countries - France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, and Malaysia, effective from Dec 1, reports POLITICO. The unilateral move, announced by Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Mao Ning, allows travelers holding ordinary passports from these countries to stay for a maximum of 15 days for business, tourism, family visits or transit. The policy is seen as a major facilitator of travel, welcomed by French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna and German Ambassador Patricia Flor in Beijing.
