Get sideways at Side Street with tonight's New Year's free flow
First on the list to help you ring in the New Year is Side Street’s free-flow deal. All night long starting at 8pm, beer, wine, sparkling wine, and mixers will be available in unlimited quantities for just RMB 228 presale or RMB 298 at the door. DJs Kangstarr and Leo Furiouso will be spinning records to keep your buzz going late (or early?) into Jan 1, 2022.
Special NYE cocktails and countdown with ADDJ at nugget
ADDJ will be spinning vinyl as special New Year's cocktails fill glasses from 8pm onwards during this free event at everyone's favorite DIY music and arts space nugget café. While grooving out to some fine tunes, you can choose between a glass of bubbly in the form of Chandon Brut (RMB 50), the Sparkling Negroni (RMB 70) or the Beijing '75 (RMB 70).
Great Leap NYE weekend events
Tonight, Great Leap Brewing #12 will be hosting a trivia night from 6pm-midnight. Entry is RMB 100 and comes with two beers. Winners will receive the coveted prize of bragging rights and a case – that's 24 500ml cans! – of the brewery's finest.
The fun continues at GLB #12 on Sunday, Jan 2 with an epic beer pong tournament. Bring a partner – maybe Frank the Tank or Chad – and warm up your wrists while you argue the house rules. Modernista Celebrates the New Year with Tea
This wouldn’t be Booze News if we posted events that only served hot tea but we aren’t talking about the drink. This TEA is the blonde bombshell that will be caressing eardrums with sexy, groovy R&B pop tunes that will make you want to move on Modernista's dance floor all night. Get ready for their RMB 10 shots happy hour and be sure to book your seats ASAP, they’re going fast.
Jing-A New Year party packs
New Year party packs are available at all Jing-A locations this weekend. Starting at RMB 1,288, they include Prosecco, 10 pints of beer, shots, and an array of snacks. Book now as reservations end tonight at 8pm.
