Brunch to Munch: 6 Brunches to Keep You Satiated over Mid-Autumn Break

Union Night Brunch

Why wait for the first afternoon of the weekend for brunch when you can enjoy it on a Friday night? That’s the idea behind the Night Brunch at Opposite House’s Union, every Fri-Sat from 6pm to 9pm. A set for two starts at RMB 598 and includes a two hour free flow of Prosecco, wine, and cocktails, plus a choice of five bites from five menus, inspired by far flung destinations like Persia and the Mediterranean.

Trio Brunch on Weekends

To make the not-quite-lunch-not-quite-breakfast appeal of brunch a little more complicated (in a good way!) Trio Wine Bar has added aperitivo, aka afternoon drinks and bites found most commonly in Northern Italy, into the mix. Every weekend (and on public holidays!) from 11am to 5pm, guests can enjoy a complimentary Bellini or Aperol Spritz with their meal.

Brunch @ Zarah

Zarah goes the all-you-can-eat buffet route with their brunch, every Sunday from 10am to 3pm. For RMB 198 you can indulge in an assortment of cold cuts, salmon, cheese, as well as an egg-cooking and DIY jianbing station plus a non-alcoholic drink. Or, for RMB 298 you can do the buffet and three hours of free flow Jing-A, prosecco, wine, and cocktails.

Slow Boat Brunch

Beijing craft beer stalwarts Slow Boat are offering up brunch every Sun-Sat 11am to 3pm at their Maizidian brewpub. Think hash browns, eggs, bacon, French toast, and chicken & waffles. Slow Boat Crew Members can also enjoy BOGO on Bloody Marys.

Bee Brunch Sanlitun Super Brunch @ Char

Char Dining Room & Lounge makes brunch extravagant with special three-course (RMB 268/person) and four-course menus (RMB 298/person) on offer, Sat-Mon from 11.30am to 3pm. Along with typical brunch fair like waffles, pancakes, and steak & eggs, there’s also truly indulgent dishes to pick from like lobster eggs benedict, wagyu beef sliders and foie gras.

Brunch @ WAA Gastropub

For a terrace riverside brunch, look no further than WAA, who recently unveiled their new brunch menu. Along with specialties like an English Breakfast without the grease, you can also choose from their egg sets – egg dish + bread + appetizer – like salmon eggs benedict (RMB 168), foie gras eggs benedict (RMB 198), or steak and eggs (RMB 268)
