Feminism is for Everyone: Get Men Talking
The first in a new series of talks titled "Feminism is for Everyone," local feminist group Beijing Wave set their sights on breaking down the taboos surrounding men's mental health. The event will start with an open discussion guided by short films and topical questions "that will have participants breaking down the overlooked epidemic that is men's mental health and suicide." All proceeds will go to mental health organization Lifeline Shanghai. RMB 30. 6.30-8pm. Caravan

Never Young Beach

Drawn to Music
The crew behind zine Hole in the Wall launch their latest creative foray this Thursday with an emphasis on inclusivity, no matter your artistic abilities or lack thereof. To get you inspired, attendees will be encouraged to either paint what they see or get on stage and pose. 15 Artists x 15 Years in China
Galleria Continua's latest exhibition "15 Artists x 15 Years in China" compiles 15 huge names in the art world, including the likes of Daniel Buren, Carsten Holler, Giovanni Ozzola, Pascale Marthine Tayou, Ai Weiwei, Carlos Garaicoa, Kader Attai, Chen Zhen, and Anish Kapoor (complementing his ongoing solo show at CAFA), covering 15 years of art in China. 100 Years, 12 Visions: The Evolution of Modern Beijing
Join Beijing Postcards on Saturday for a walking tour that will explore how the city of Beijing has developed over the last 100 years. Fittingly, the tour will begin at the Urban Planning Exhibition Center, where you'll get a broad sense of how the city has changed before heading out into the nearby hutongs to search for clues left by historical events during the Early Republic, the Cultural Revolution, and the Great Leap Forward among many others. Everlasting Like the Heavens: The Cultures and Arts of the Zhou, Qin, Han, and Tang
To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, Tsinghua University Art Gallery has collaborated with the Shaanxi Bureau of Cultural Relics to gather and display and incredible collection of Zhou, Qin, Han, and Tang dynasty sculptures, ornaments, paintings, and relics. RMB 20-60.
