New Zealand Seafood Long Table Dinner at Hatchery
As part of New Zealand week, a celebration of all things Kiwi, Hatchery is hosting two intimate long-table dinners for 14 guests on Nov 8 and 9. The dinners will show off New Zealand seafood such as greenshell mussels and Mt. Cook salmon in a four-course sharing menu featuring dishes like deep-fried hoki pieces with curry mayo, mussels with Zeffer Crisp apple cider and lemongrass, and roasted salmon fillet with cashew and herb salsa verde. Dinner is priced at RMB 299 including a welcome drink. Add RMB 188 for free-flow wine pairing from Babich. Full menu details in the flyer above and visit this link to reserve your seat.
Jamie Pike Wine Dinner at TRB Forbidden City
On Nov 12, Le Sommelier International will be holding a wine dinner at TRB Forbidden City with leading Australian wine producer Pikes wines, hosted by Jamie Pike. The dinner will feature some of the most outstanding wines to come from the Adelaide Hills. Pairings include hamachi, tomato, and elderflower with Pike & Joyce Beurre Bosc Pinot Gris 2017 and wagyu beef, asparagus, pesto, and truffle paired with Gaelic Cemetary Shiraz 2013. Dinner is priced at RMB 488 per person. Visit this link for more information.
Warming Winter Specials at Slow Boat
Fight off the winter chill with Slow Boat’s new creamy and chunky pumpkin shiitake soup (pictured at top). This creamy, vegan pumpkin soup is made with herb-sautéed shiitake mushrooms, topped with nigella seeds, and served with two slices of olive oil grilled baguette. The soup is available daily for RMB 35. Sounds like this will go well with their new hot drinks happy hour deal, featuring spiced mulled wine and hot buttered rum, both of which are RMB 10 off from 4-8pm Monday-Friday.
