Reduce Your Plastic Waste
Put your clubbing plans on hold this Friday and head to this talk on plastic use reduction instead. As described by the organizers, "Last year 480 billion plastic drinking bottles were sold across the world – up from 300 billion a decade earlier. If placed end to end, this would reach halfway to the sun." As plastic use and waste hits a crisis point, with particles entering our food chain, and therefore our bodies, it's time to consider what each of us can do to stop the looming problems ahead. RMB 300, RMB 150 (members) (includes two drinks and snacks). 6.30-8.30pm. The Bookworm
