Successful applicants will be native English speakers, have proofreading and writing experience and be experienced in music writing, along with being based in Beijing.
Game Operator
A gaming company called FunPlus, with headquarters in both Beijing and San Francisco, is looking for game operators in the Chinese capital that speak Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Turkish, Dutch, Norwegian and English. The job ad says: "FunPlus is looking for Game Operators to work in the Operations Team, our great international team that boosts 20 languages and more than 26 different nationalities. At first, Operators will be trained to be in charge of three main work points:
- Customer Service:
Help and solve users questions submitted to our CS channels and report to game studio
- Community Management:
Manage day to day outbound communications
- Localization & Testing:
Translate from English into any of the following languages: Italian/Spanish/Portuguese/English/Japanese/Russian/Korean/Turkish maintaining game style and test in-game to make sure translations are correctly displayed and spelled."
Restaurant Manager at Kara Brouillette's Sanctuary
Butcher Brouillette project founder Kara Brouillette, is looking for a manager at her late night sandwich joint Sanctuary (formerly Constellation, check out our review of the place here). Her job ad says that the "qualified candidate would be the overall management of the front of house. This position isn't difficult and doesn't require some fancy hotel experience or anything. Actually, we just need someone who is creative, wants to learn and is good with customers." She is also asking for applicants who have some background in F&B, have a strong will to learn, and have good communication skills.
Content Marketing Manager at TrueRun Media
True Rune Media-- parent company of the Beijinger, beijinkids and Jing Kids-- is looking to hire a Content Marketing Manager (CMM) to lead the production of digital branded content for its publications. The responsibilities include:
