EAT: The Butcher Shop at Mosto and End of an Era for the Meatball Company

If you're having trouble keeping warm, Mosto's all-you-can-eat meat feast aka The Butcher Shop wants to warm you from inside. On November 17, from 6pm onwards, the Nali Patio favorite will hold their first ever Argentinean pop-up event.

And when you think of Argentinean food, what comes to mind? Meat, of course. With a side of meat. That's why, for RMB 498, you'll get all-you-can-meat, which equals an unimaginable amount, equal in both quality and quantity. An entire bottle of wine is also included per person, for a really gluttinous evening.

Unfortunately, that's where the good news stops as over in the hutongs, The Meatball Company is closing up shop on November 24, after opening this location in Spring 2015.

An announcement on their official WeChat (ID: themeatballcompany) reads that they will be moving on due to a negative impact on the owners' health that a hands-on approach to maintain quality control necessitated but inevitably had negative consequences. Sister company Ladle & Spice will stick around and continue to serve the duo's winning chunky tomato sauce and hot sauces at a restaurant near you. Stay subscribed to The Meatball Company's account for updates on Ladle & Spice. R.I.P. balls, we'll be sure to come by one last time.
