EAT: Love for Lobster at China World Summit Wing, New Menu Teasers at Migas, MoxiMoxi Anniversary Party
Seasonal ingredients are being flown into Beijing for China World Summit Wing's Love for Lobster promotion, which entails a series of signature dishes made with imported Atlantic lobster. Nadaman, The Lounge, and Atmosphere Bar will serve lobster set menus until June 30, and The Red Chamber and Noodle Bar will have creative lobster-inspired a la carte dishes available until April 30.
If you prefer to drink your lobster with a high alcohol content, Atmosphere are whipping up a cocktail with lobster-infused vodka, fresh lemon juice, lavender syrup, chocolate bitters, and champagne.
Next up, Migas is preparing for their May menu launch, and if you head there before April 31 you can get a taster of what is to come. Amongst other dishes, the team is working on an oxtail ravioli with beef sauce topped off with a quail egg yolk (RMB 108), as well as octopus served in two different ways: as a carpaccio or a chicharrones, both finished with eggplant and miso aliolli, roasted avocado, and fish roe (RMB 98). All the while, upstairs at the Bar at Migas, will be undergoing some changes as they prepare for their rooftop opening parties this weekend.
In other news, Ramo will be closed until Friday (Apr 15), to complete their kitchen renovations, but don’t worry, they will be back open to the public starting on April 16.
That date happily coincides with MoxiMoxi's (Ramo's neighbor) first anniversary party! Expect a special hummus menu, live tunes, and drinks specials at other bars in the area from 2-6pm and beyond. For more information about the celebration, check this blog that I prepared earlier.
