Burger Brief: Luga's Quesadilla Burger
Burger Brief takes a look at some of the top seeds in the Beijinger 2015 Burger Cup. This time around, we talk to Luga's and see why it's placed so high in the pre-tournament seedings. (Check out the rest of the series so far here)

Name of signature burger: Quesadilla Burger
Tell us about your signature burger. What makes it the best burger in Beijing?
We took a completely different approach to the common burger and gave it a Mexican twist. Compared to the normal bun our burger has a typical quesadilla style bun that is thin and crispy. The meat itself packs a bit of punch because of the added jalapeños, but isn't too spicy, so everyone can still enjoy it. This combination of a crisp quesadilla, quality meat and spices make it the best burger in Beijing.
What does the burger come with?
A side of French fries.
What drink from your menu goes best with the burger?
It pairs very well with any of our draft beers or our newly added mojito recipes, which include new flavors besides the original one: vanilla, lily, passion fruit, strawberry and mango.
What other burgers do you have on the menu?
Besides the quesadilla burger we also have the more common Luga's Burger on the menu, which is the traditional burger only bigger and better.
What was the best burger you’ve ever had, in Beijing or otherwise?
I think the best burger I had here in Beijing was one that some of my American friends used to make in their hutong backyard, on a custom made grill during hot summer nights. Sometimes the experience and the people around you are what makes food really great.
